Not only is the Farmhouse Inn one of my favorite small boutique resorts in the California wine country, but for the wine lover, they offer fantastic Sonoma/Napa wine experiences. The 5th generation Sonoma sibling owners Catherine and Joe Bartolomei, who purchased the inn in 2000, are passionate about creating “an authentic Russian River Wine Country experience” for guests who want “to slow down, engage and experience the extraordinary bounty of Sonoma County.”

The Inn offers a 6-hour Wine Experience with a local wine expert. Package starts at $1795 for 2 people and includes:

  • Customized tour experience focused on your specific wine preferences
  • Typical day includes 3 winery visits with lunch at the 2nd stop
  • Accompanying certified local Sommelier who will act as your guide and educator.
  • Transportation in Farmhouse’s new Tesla Model X.
  • Wine Country Picnic lunch is provided by the Farmhouse Inn Estate Chef.

There are also plans in the future for a 4-hour Tesla Wine Experience (without a sommelier) which visits three wineries. Cost will be $395, which is a great value. We will provide more information on this once it is available.

If you would rather forgo the private car and driver and the sommelier and just explore on your own, the Farmhouse Inn can also help you put together a self-guided tour with complementary tasting passes at the wineries of your choice. There is no fee for this if you are a guest at the property.

Each of these options is an amazing way to take advantage of the Farmhouse Inn’s close ties to over 20 nearby wineries. Couple that with a stay at this gorgeous, low-key property (and a spa appointment or two and some fantastic meals at their restaurant with a Michelin starred chef) and you’ve got yourself the makings of an unforgettable weekend or long weekend getaway!

When you book your Wine Experience and accommodation through Journeys Unparalleled, you will receive VIP treatment and a host of complimentary amenities: info@journeysunparalleled.com.
