We had a client recently return from the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. Here we share with you their feedback from their anniversary celebration weekend getaway:
- The receptionist was incredibly warm and welcoming. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived so we received a complimentary drink. We went to the pool to redeem our drink, and the front desk host walked out to the poolside to personally find us when our room was ready (instead of calling our cell). I appreciated that level of service.
- The hotel room was very nice. It looked like it was newly renovated, the shower was very large, and I liked the eucalyptus smell. I also appreciated that the hotel provided robes and slippers in the hotel room. The only negative was that our deadbolt was broken when we got there. However, the hotel maintenance quickly fixed it for us. So not a big deal.
- Overall, I found the hotel service to be beyond expectations. Everyone we met was super friendly and went the extra mile (from the driver, the front desk, to the spa attendants).
- We also went on a bike ride around Sonoma. The hotel bikes were all taken, so we had to rent a bike for $30. I was a little nervous biking on the city streets (with cars everywhere)– but once we got to the bike route, it was worth it. It was so pretty biking through the vineyards.
- Food– I thought the food was a little over priced, but that was okay (for example chips and guacamole was 20 bucks). But I did like the free breakfast! 🙂
- The spa was gorgeous. I loved doing the bathing ritual. The massage treatment also was lovely.
- I also enjoyed the watzu pool. The underwater music was fun, and it was relaxing floating around with the pool noodles.
- Atmosphere– oh, it was so relaxing and pretty at the mission inn! I want to go back again soon.
- Wanted to emphasize again that the service we received was top notch. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
